I agree with most of the comments. I just had a very unpleasant experience with this spa. The therapist who handled me cannot give the amount of pressure that I requested. Seems to be very inexperienced. I could hear the staff as well talking and laughing that instead of getting relaxation I got stressed out all the more. This spa is not worth visiting. Most of the good comments appear to have been written by the owner of the spa.

I totally agree with the comment of Johannes, dang is really an effective and accommodating receptionist . The spa is legitimate in every way, the location the ambience and the service is at par with the other spa I been to, like the Spa in fort bonifacio. The comment about renz is true. Renz is very thorough in his massage and he did it in a very professional manner. I never felt any discomfort in his massage , it was a total bliss and you will really feel very relax and sleepy. Kudos to renz and dang keep it up.

Concierge and Receptionist Dang is very responsive, cheerful and was able to give prices and other offers right away via phone SMS (text). I reserved one for me with The Artisen Spa on Oct 3 2014 Friday evening for a 2-hour Swedish and Shiatsu session for 700 pesos.
Key location to easily locate it is Shopwise Makati along Pasong Tamo along Davila Street. They have a secured premises, excellent parking with 24-hour guard on stand-by at the lobby. Its very quiet and is hidden at the second floor of SGC Building, which also houses an art school for kids. So with no hesitation, the place is legit.
They will offer you foot wash before the massage. I had mine cleaned up before going there so off with the massage.
Another good thing that they let you fill out a form with all the massages, oils and even pressure and concentration points options. Make sure to tell them your weak points and other health issues so they customize the session.
Just like a true-concierge style, Dang showed me my massage bed. I thought it was too bright (based on the photos) but it was very dimmed (the black expose ceiling was left bare and painted black – which i like staring with the out of the norm spa approach). The cubicles has thick heavy curtains. A massage bed with head shoot (hole for the head to rest), two towels, a small comfy pillow and a secured drawer for your personal belongings, which is great.
Massage was very good since I never really give out 10 out of 10 scores. Renz, the masseur did hard pressure massages, which I insisted and had consistency. Once you are done with the massage, usually you are left with a hot towel but they will wipe all the oil out for you.
They were a bit booked that evening (Friday) with only one spot left, though I recommend you reserved earlier in the evening and / or drop by 2AM onwards until 6AM if you are keen to wait. If you do, make sure you try their tea! (Although it was served to me after the massage, Im sure its no biggie for them to serve it ahead; warms up the body. And make sure you ask for no sugar!)
Its my first time to try The Artisen Spa. Been traveling long enough and I tend to try all from the cheap good massages in Thailand up to the 5-star spas in Manhattan. They are still new and trying out the market but so far its good call. Price comparable to mainstream massage places along Makati Avenue but less commercial and very quiet. Ambiance music inside is a bit loud, but can always tone it down and maybe new tracks – specially when you don’t have your music with you. I like their willingness to offer alternatives and surely will try out for more. Though if you opt for Swedish and Shiatsu make sure you have the Swedish first, since you’ll be oiled up and Shiatsu is more of the pressure points on towel – helps the masseur easier to clean up and as well help you have less oil after the session. They have wet area but never even went in. Recommended for those who wanted a quiet quick massage fix and or an after Friday or Saturday night party nearby or in the city.
Final Rate: 7.5 out of 10.

Still, they’re doing something naman on their side…I believe the SPA needs to have more calibrated procedures when it comes to this. Massage Room: ok kaya lang kulang sa sound proofing. Ang ingay.
Massage: great
ES: super alok with matching tagline “eto ang binabalikan ng mga customers ko”. please be reminded that people go to your clinic for relaxation. It’s the right pressure why men take masseurs and not all are for “something else”. I believe legit spa kayo so please wag naman ganun ang assumption ng therapist nyo. Kung ES rin lang, marami dyan sa tabi-tabi na yun ang specialization at yun ang pinaghahandaan ng mga masahista nila.

I had my massage twice… lagi na assign yon maitim na may nunal… feeling close at medyo bastos yon.. the last time di sya naka pila ng nakita ko sya na na ang assign na sarili… kapal. but the owners are too pleasing. The oil is good it is not sticky, I agree you can hear the voice and other unnecessary noise…

I think this spa is overrated. There are comments about the ambience being of hotel quality, but I didn’t think so. Motel-quality maybe. From the massage room you can hear all the noise outside the room — the opening and closing of doors, a running faucet and the voices of the staff — because the walls do not extend all the way to the ceiling and the curtains are flimsy. I did like my therapist though – although his massage was not as hard as I wanted, it was decent enough, and the guy himself was pleasant and polite. Was he good-looking? If I’d lower my usual standards, yes he could pass for good-looking. But that’s about it. I also saw about 5 guys who seemed to be therapists but they were even less attractive. I didn’t catch Yves though. Hopefully, he is not overrrated as well. Next time I’d more likely settle for home service.

First time ko visit yung spa, napansin ko malinis and very accommodating reception. They told me about the most requested signature massage – Destresser but i was told also that bawat therapists may kanya kanyang personalized signature massage – ala sa menu services but really impressed with their own massages. You just have to tell the reception kung anong part gusto concentration of the massage. I like to hot bed massage and yung foot therapy. nakaka relax talaga. Napansin ko rin sa spa – all goodlooking and highly presentable. I tried Jolo and super nice and okay siya mag massage . I will definitely recommend Artisen Spa for its quality service.

yung therapist nyo na matangkad na maputi , may gap ang teeth nya sa harapan nalimutan ko name besides alam ko naman na di totoo ang ibibigay nyang name nya sobra naman mangholdup ng tao sapilitan ang offer ang sarap sanang magrelax pero na stress ako ng wagas ang kapal ng mukha talaga !!!

I went to Artisen , last Thursday , May 22. The place is clean but the massage is over rated. The therapist who was assigned to me lacks courtesy. The place and ambiance is okay, but there’s something “sinister ” or hidden agenda. Not all customers are the same , some really wants an authentic massage not something extra. The spa has great potential, as it well lighted and interiors create an atmosphere of a decent spa. I asked the the therapist to discontinue the massage. Paid and gave a tip, but will not return.

first that i can say is that the place is clean. i can feel the the serenity immediately once i entered tha spa. the therapists were good looking especially the boy next door type yves! i chose him because he looks kind and gentle to my impression, well yeah, my impression did not fail me, he was good and honest. parang pwedeng maging kaibigan. polite and respectful. so i guess i will be going back here and i hope that yves is available again to ease my bodyaches hehe..
